Well the title says it all doesn’t it?
There are a few brides who don’t have many another colours in their wardrobe other than black and the thought of wearing a white traditional wedding dress has them running for the hills, or cliffs. If this is you, then I am here to tell you don’t run, there are some amazing options for you.
Black wedding dresses are fashionable, and so elegant. A bride in a black wedding dress is not drab as some may think, in fact she is daring, classy and beautiful.
So if this is what you really want then go for it. I’m sure there may be some objections, but this is your day and your day should reflect who you are not what your family or friends would prefer.
A good idea,(if you, the bride, are in black) is to have your bridesmaids in white with a touch of black to tie it all together.
If you aren’t as bold as to wear a black wedding dress but don’t want a completely white wedding dress, you can add black to your wedding dress in the form of black lace, beading, emboirdery or accessorize with black. There is nothing more striking than the combination of black and white.
This is your turn to get creative, if you are already considering a black wedding dress or a touch of black in your wedding dress, then the people that know you, know you have this side to you and will love the difference this wedding will bring.
It would be a good idea to work with a designer to create your wedding dress. Make sure he or she understands what you envisage and don’t settle for something that isn’t you. When designing a dress with this type of a difference it is so important that it reflects who you are
