Jo wanted a beach wedding, it was her dream. Most of us when we think of a beach wedding we imagine the wedding dress to be similar to a white summer dress, but Jo took beach wedding dresses to another level!
Jo studied fashion design herself, and on her wedding day she was not about to follow the norm. She had a few idea’s and once the design was decided on we went fabric shopping. Jo wanted a very flowing dress, one that would blow in the wind. A day or so after our fabric shopping spree she had a new idea about her wedding dress, which set her dress apart from the regular dresses you may find at beach weddings.
With lots of fabric, many gathers and layers, little flowers (all the way from Italy) and one big flower… the beach bride had her charmingly graceful wedding gown.
Word from the guests said she looked like “a floating angel.”
I’ve been married for 35 years and. If I was getting married again,Jo’s dress would be exactly what I would love to wear walking done the isle, because of it’s flowing femininity, l think it would make me feel like I was floating.
